KT&G SangSang Madang Busan concluded the 2025 SangSang Festival in Busan with flying colors on Aug. 23. Held under the theme “United Through Music in Busan,” the festival contributed to revitalizing the local arts and culture scene, receiving enthusiastic responses from attendees.

The festival offered a variety of programs, including live performances, an after-party, artist booths, and interactive experience zones, providing visitors with rich entertainment and engaging activities.

Eleven bands performed at the event, including Korea’s leading electronic band Glen Check as well as Broccoli, You Too?, winner of the Best Modern Rock Award at the 8th Korean Music Awards. Other performers were selected through SangSang Madang Busan’s Performance Support Program, which included Seoul Busan Incheon, ChinChin Tango, and Bandgirin—all drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience through their performance.

The festival was free and held entirely indoors, ensuring a comfortable viewing environment. SangSang Madang Busan also collaborated with nearby local businesses to offer discount benefits to festival-goers, reinforcing the spirit of mutual growth and support within the community.

KT&G Director of Cultural Contribution Kim Kang-min stated, “We are delighted that this festival supports the creative activities of young artists and contributes to the development of Busan’s local arts and culture. KT&G SangSang Madang remains committed to engaging with locals and fostering a warm, inclusive cultural community.”

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, KT&G SangSang Madang has grown into one of Korea’s leading multi-cultural spaces that support creative activities and connect the public with art. The facility attracts around 3.2 million visitors annually. Since its launch as an online community in 2005, SangSang Madang has expanded into five offline multi-cultural spaces in Hongdae, Nonsan, Chuncheon, Daechi, and Busan—hosting over 3,000 artistic and cultural programs every year.
