KT&G SangSang Madang Busan concluded the 2025
SangSang Festival in Busan with flying colors on Aug. 23. Held under the
theme “United Through Music in Busan,” the festival contributed to revitalizing
the local arts and culture scene, receiving enthusiastic responses from
attendees.
The festival
offered a variety of programs, including live performances, an after-party,
artist booths, and interactive experience zones, providing visitors with rich
entertainment and engaging activities.
Eleven bands
performed at the event, including Korea’s leading electronic band Glen Check as
well as Broccoli, You Too?, winner of the Best Modern Rock Award at the 8th
Korean Music Awards. Other performers were selected through SangSang Madang
Busan’s Performance Support Program, which included Seoul Busan Incheon,
ChinChin Tango, and Bandgirin—all drawing enthusiastic applause from the
audience through their performance.
The festival was free and held entirely indoors, ensuring
a comfortable viewing environment. SangSang Madang Busan also collaborated with
nearby local businesses to offer discount benefits to festival-goers,
reinforcing the spirit of mutual growth and support within the community.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary, KT&G SangSang Madang has grown into one of Korea’s leading multi-cultural spaces that support creative activities and connect the public with art. The facility attracts around 3.2 million visitors annually. Since its launch as an online community in 2005, SangSang Madang has expanded into five offline multi-cultural spaces in Hongdae, Nonsan, Chuncheon, Daechi, and Busan—hosting over 3,000 artistic and cultural programs every year.
