KT&G (CEO Bang Kyung-man) announced on December 31 that it had won the Grand Prize in the General Category for Major Corporations at Web Award Korea 2025, hosted by the Korea Internet Professional Association (KIPFA). Web Award Korea is widely regarded as the most prestigious website evaluation awards program in Korea. Every year, a panel of approximately 4,000 web experts evaluates and awards outstanding websites across industries based on 18 assessment indicators spanning six categories, including technology, service, content, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX). In October, KT&G completely revamped its corporate website to better communicate its vision and core values. The redesigned homepage reflects KT&G’s identity as a global enterprise exporting products to 135 countries, featuring a main layout that intuitively presents the company’s philosophy and business areas. The new website also prioritizes the user perspective by offering a stable layout that enables easier navigation and delivers high-quality, well-structured content. The evaluation panel praised KT&G’s website for visually articulating its global business direction and commitment to sustainable management, noting that the platform clearly conveys the company’s values while simultaneously improving information accessibility and readability. An official from KT&G stated, “We fully redesigned our website to enable various stakeholders to better understand the values we pursue and conveniently access the information they need online. We remain committed to effectively communicating our management philosophy and key information through various digital channels.”
